Thailand
Chiang Mai 2 - Suneta Hostel - 9/11 > 11/11

Continuing Loy Krathong festivities, I went to a street parade.
Rode a motorbike through the clouds to the top of Thailand’s highest mountain, Doi Inthanon.

- The parade ran for many hours hosting a variety of cultures, displays and lanterns etc, more street food to be had and photographs to take which was great.
- The day after I rode for 2 hours to Doi Inthanon which was a mix of emotions, having only a helmet to wear and no leathers was a little scary but the roads here are well looked after and bone dry. One thing about the locals in Thailand is their road sense, everyone is very observatant, courteous, and indicates!
- Riding through the twisties on a steep incline to the top of the mountain was fantastic, the roads were quiet and the air so pure. You could feel the temperature change whilst driving through the clouds, but once at the top it was toasty again. Took some snaps before heading back down obviously!
